Defining the future of civil engineering :

 The Department of Civil Engineering pulls out all stops to create outstanding  engineers  with advanced teaching techniques and learning aids for undergraduate students .Students are not only made experts in technical aspects but also in interpersonal skills, a vital ingredient to excel in the fast-paced world.

Educating Leaders :

The Civil Engineering department is committed to find solutions to major sustainability challenges and to educate and train the leaders who will have a large impact on our profession and on society.

Major events & achievements :

•Successfully conducted a blood donation camp on 24th July, 2011 and donated about 6300 ml of blood.

•Students of civil engineering Department stood as overall achievers in curricular as well in extra-curricular activities for the years 2009-11.

•Apart from the above, there are many more achievements in technical papers and college film festivals.

Academics :

The undergraduate program imparts students with mastery in the field of civil engineering besides fluency in mathematics, physics, instrumentation, computers, management and economics - essential requirements for any successful civil engineer.

Students gain practical experience from field visits to industries, dams and irrigation structures, construction sites, etc.
